DURING CHECKOUT​ 

• If you're adopting a spider, during checkout you will be charged $30 as a deposit towards shipping.

  • I will refund if shipping was less than $30; if it exceeds $30 I accept Paypal/Venmo.

  • Checkout will ask for your phone number - this is because FedEx requires one to ship. However, your information is safe with me!

SHIPPING OPTIONS​

• Spiders are shipped on Tuesday or Wednesday using FedEx priority overnight. This is following the advice of reptile shipping services - Mondays are the busiest day, and other days leave your spider open to being stuck over the weekend.

• Overnight shipping for pickup at FedEx is highly encouraged for the safety of your spider. This helps to ensure that your spider isn't stuck on a truck (that may or may not have air conditioning!) while the driver delivers other packages.

• If you choose to have your spider delivered to your home, please make sure you are there to receive them! Again, I highly recommend having them held for pickup instead.

• Not all FedEx locations offer 'hold at location' (HAL) pickup for live animals; I will be in touch to discuss options with you! Fed Ex Office, etc. do not offer HAL.

• I check weather for both my location and yours, and I do not ship during extreme temperatures for the safety of your spider. 

• I will also be in touch if the spider for adoption appears to be getting ready to molt so we can coordinate a safe time for it to travel to its new home with you!

 

In the event a spider is dead on arrival, please contact me within two hours of pickup from FedEx, or within an hour of delivery to your address. I will replace your spider only if it was sent overnight to a FedEx hub and picked up within two hours of arrival. Buyer is responsible for replacement shipping. In the event that I do not have a spider that is ready to be sent as a replacement, we can coordinate a future adoption.

Local pickup is available in south New Jersey for those in Philadelphia/New Jersey!
